Updated: 4 hours ago
On 6 June 2026, a dissemination session on the Inclusive Voices Dialogue Conference was held at the Youth Club. Nandi, a youth leader, and Valentine, a participant, outlined the project’s objectives, which focus on empowering rural young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, to actively participate in EU decision-making and engage in dialogue with EU decision-makers, local politicians, and youth organisations.

They shared insights from the visits to the European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), highlighting the opportunity to raise the challenges and concerns faced by rural youth directly with EU decision-makers. They also discussed the policymakers’ presentation and the importance of ensuring that young people’s perspectives are considered in policy discussions.
The session also emphasised the wider impact of the project in amplifying the voices of rural youth, promoting social inclusion, and encouraging active citizenship. They explained that the conference supports cross-border collaboration and, strengthening connections between rural youth communities across Europe.

Youth workers and organisations will benefit from shared resources, professional development opportunities, and expanded networks, helping them to better support their young people and foster more inclusive participation in civic life. Ultimately, the boys shared Inclusive Voices website that was created in anticipation of the 2nd Transnational Partner Meeting (TPM 2). This was explained to demonstrate how the project was being disseminated.
